Water Hyssop has creeping stems and little white flowers. At the beginning, it tends to stay beside ponds as an unnoticed little plant. But sooner or later, it will grow all over the ponds like a green carpet. The plant is usually found in freshwater habitats. It is remarkably hardy and thrives in almost all conditions. It can grow in deep or shallow water but loves slow flowing rivers best.
