Orange-tailed Sprite is a large damselfly with strongly built body, and preys on smaller damselflies. This robust species has a long flight period from spring to early winter. With distinctive olive green thorax and orange red abdomen, Orange-tailed Sprite can be spotted easily even when it hides among aquatic plants.
