Chinese Barb is also known as Chinese Half-striped Barb and Six-banded Barb. It is a common freshwater fish in local streams and reservoirs. It has five to seven vertical bands on its body. This schooling species can be found in shallow water along the Stream Walk and the ponds at the Life Zone in Wetland Park.
