Enjoy our Wetlands Guided Tour for the Communities

This guided service is designed for registered social services and charity organisations, non-profit organisations, or institutes which provide special education. Application should be made in advance. Guided tours will be led by Wetland Interpreters or volunteers, covering topics include eco-building design, ecology of streams, wetland crops as well as wetlands organisms.

Application

Applicant should complete an online application form from 3 months to 2 weeks prior to the date of visit. Limited places are available. Application will be processed on first-come-first-serve basis. Results of applications will be notified by fax or email.

Notes
  1. Booking should be within the period from the 2nd week to next 3 months since the submission of the application form.
  2. Limited places are available. Application will be processed on first-come-first-serve basis.
  3. New application is required for any changes of the date and time of visit, the number of visitors and arrangement of the visit.
  4. Organisations are required to provide documentary proof for non-profit or charity nature (for example, letter issued by the Inland Revenue Department under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance).
  5. Hong Kong Wetland Park reserves the right to decide whether to approve an application. The approval of applications subjects to the applicant's compliance with the application criteria. If the applicant fails to observe this condition or any information provided by the applicant is found to be untrue, HKWP reserves the right to withdraw the approval.
  6. The applicant will receive the confirmation of application from HKWP through email or fax within 7 working days after the date of application.
  7. All scheduled activity will be cancelled without prior notice, if the Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, or Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 3 or above is in effect 2 hours before the activity.
  8. In the event of unstable weather conditions (such as raining) or any of the following weather warning(s), including the Thunderstorm Warning, Rainstorm Warning (Amber, Red or Black) and Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 1 or above is issued during the activity, the outdoor activity may be cancelled. There will be no rescheduling arrangement for the cancelled activity.
  9. HKWP has temporarily closed the indoor galleries and visitor facilities in the Visitor Centre for upgrading works. If the scheduled guided tour has to be cancelled due to unstable or inclement weather, the park will not be able to provide alternative itineraries. Person-in-charge of the group is suggested to pay attention to the weather conditions before visiting the Park and make necessary preparations and arrangements.
