Upgrading of Exhibition Galleries and some Visitor Facilities of the Hong Kong Wetland Park (Updated in January 2025)

The Hong Kong Wetland Park has temporarily closed the exhibition galleries and some visitor facilities in the Visitor Centre for upgrading.

The following facilities are temporarily closed:

• Atrium (Note 1)
• “What are Wetlands”, “Living Wetlands”, “Human Culture” and “Wetland Challenge” Galleries
• Viewing Gallery
• “Swamp Adventure” Indoor Play Area
• Theatre
• Multi-function Rooms
• Souvenir Shop

Note 1: Since the ticketing gates at the Atrium are out of service at the same time, admission tickets are checked manually and the electronic ticketing system is temporarily suspended.

The following facility is partially closed:

• Entry Plaza (Note 2)

Note 2: Some areas of the Entry Plaza are closed for facility upgrading, but visitors may still access the Eco-Maze and Green Roof on both sides to enjoy the wetland scenery.

The following facilities remain open:

• Wetland Reserve (including Pui Pui’s Home, Stream Walk, Wetland Discovery Centre, Life Zone, Dipping Pond, Wetlands at Work, Succession Walk, Wildside Walk, Mangrove Boardwalk, Butterfly Garden, Return Route, Viewing Pavilions and Bird Hides)
• Café
• Information Counter
• Toilets
• Mother’s Room
• First Aid Room
• Carpark
