Application form for Marine Parks Educational Activities
Important Notes:
If a school / non-profit organization applys for the same type of activity more than once, ONLY the first application submitted will be considered.An acknowledgement email will be received after the application.
Schools participating in the Ecotour or Field Study activity are required to arrange the following:
- Land transport to and from Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park;
- Insurance for all participants;
- Consent from parents;
- As the route of the tour may be rough, participants are suggested to wear comfortable clothes, sneakers and using backpacks. Participants should also bring enough drinking water, sun cream and insect repellent. As the travelling time to Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park is relatively long, for those who may be susceptible to travel sickness, please take anti-motion sickness medicine before the journey;
- If Hong Kong Observatory is issued/going to issue any Rainstorm Warning, Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 or above within 3 hours before the activity starts, or Environmental Protection Department announced AQHI (Tap Mun station) 10+; or the Education Bureau announced class suspension, all outdoor activities will be cancelled without prior notice.
- During the outdoor activity, if any of the above signals is hoisted, the activity will be aborted. If thunderstorm warning is hoisted or other unforeseen conditions, duty staff will consider the on-site condition and may cease or shorten the activity, and the activity will not be re-scheduled.
- All participants must obey the Marine Parks Visitor Code.
