Little Ringed Plover is a common winter migrant and passage migrant in Wetland Park. During breeding season, this small bird has conspicuous yellow eye-rings which precisely explain its name - Little Ringed Plover. It is hard to spot a Little Ringed Plover on mudflats because of its small size and greyish brown body.
