One of the most pleasant sights in Wetland Park must be the blooms of Water Lily in the Freshwater Marshes. Water Lily has floating leaves connected to the underwater rhizome with soft, cable-like petioles. There is an indentation at the edge of the leaves. Flowers of Water Lily open at daytime and close at dusk.
