Round-leaved Rotala is a small herbaceous plant which usually colonise along water margin. Its round-button-like leaves grow in layers along opposite sides of the stem. Round-leaved Rotala flowers in spring, with small pink flowers grow in clusters on the top of the stem. The flowering period is short, lasting only between February and April.
