Fisheries Hall
The Fisheries Hall is situated in the Lions Nature Education Centre at Tsiu Hang, Sai Kung. With the local fisheries industry as its theme, this exhibition hall is divided into three thematic areas guiding us to learn more about Hong Kong’s fisheries history, the current status of our capture and aquaculture fisheries, as well as the latest development of modernized aquaculture operations.
Our five mascots – Mr Chinese Bahaba, Golden Threadfin Bream, Blackspot Tuskfish, Snubnose Pompano and Grey Mullet, are the iconic representatives of local capture and aquaculture species. They will guide the visitors through the Hall to appreciate the changes and development of our fisheries industry.
