During summer, visitors may encounter Peacock Pansy around the Freshwater Marsh and the Discovery Centre in Wetland Park, as the larval food plants of Peacock Pansy such as Hygrophila salicifolia grow in the areas. The uppersides of its wings are brownish orange with conspicuous eye spots.
