Seasonal Highlights

When spring returns, the blossoming flowers become the highlights of Hong Kong Wetland Park. Moreover, with different trees and shrubs planted, visitors may also enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Park for photography throughout the year.

Spring and summer are seasons with lively insects. Apart from the dancing butterflies at Butterfly Garden, visitors may also take a close look at the dragonflies hovering around Succession Walk. In addition, plant lovers should not miss the blooming lotus and flourishing fruits near Wetland Discovery Centre and Riverside Birdhide.

As winter approaches, many migratory birds will visit the Park for roosting and foraging. It is the best timing to capture their interesting behaviour with camera. With large and colourful flowers blooming in late autumn and early winter, Camellia spp. are also loved by many photographers.
