2024 Wetland Explorers: The Riddle Challenge for Secondary Schools

As winter approaches, migratory birds will arrive at the wetlands in Hong Kong for resting and wintering after a long journey of traveling. To prepare for this special season, the Hong Kong Wetland Park now invites secondary schools to join the "2024 Wetland Explorers: The Riddle Challenge for Secondary Schools" (“the Challenge”) in which students will explore the wetland habitats and solve the riddles by applying their knowledge of birds in order to accomplish all tasks.
Details of the Activity:
| Target Participant: | Secondary School Students |
| Race Date: | 7 December 2024 / 14 December 2024 (Saturdays, each school will only be required to join on either day) |
| Registration Time: | A.M. – 10:15 / 10:45 / 11:15 / 11:45 P.M. – 12:15 / 12:45 / 13:15 / 13:45 (The race date and registration time for each school will be arranged randomly by drawing lots) |
| Time limit: | Each team is required to register as scheduled and complete the Challenge within 3 hours |
| Venue: | Hong Kong Wetland Park |
| Form of Race: | Held in teams. Each team shall comprise 4 students in the company of 1 teacher (Each school can nominate not more than 2 teams) |
| Language: | Conducted in Cantonese |
Enrolment Method:
Through the online system on this webpage starting from 12:00 p.m. on 7 October 2024.
| Enrolment Period: | 7 to 25 October 2024 (Results will be sent to the enrolled schools by email on or before 4 November 2024) |
