ť ť Application Open for theťdgri enJoydSchemeAgriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) has launched the dgri enJoydScheme to enable farms engaged in commercial agricultural production to operate agriculture-related ancillary businesses, so as to increase their income and promote their agricultural products.ť Members of the public will also get a chance to experience and learn more about agricultural production.ť Participating farms of the Scheme may operate ancillary businesses including preparation of light meals with self-grown crops and non-flame cooking, provision of "pick-your-own crops" activities, on-farm sale of self-grown crops, and on-farm activities, including guided tours and farming experiences or workshops, which aim at promoting farming education. ť Eligibility for application and other details of the Scheme can be found on the following website:ť www.afcd.gov.hk/english/agriculture/LF/LF.html ť The department will organise a briefing session on 15 July 2024 (Monday) at 9:30 a.m. at Conference Room, Tai Lung Experimental Station, Fan Kam Road, Lin Tong Mei, Sheung Shui.ť Farmers interested in attending the briefing in person, please call 2668 0418 during office hours to enroll for the briefing in advance.ť Due to limited quotas, the enrolment will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. ťRevision of fee for Cultivating Service - Fallow Land Rehabilitationť With effective from 19 February 2024, the fee for Cultivating Service - Fallow Land Rehabilitation provided by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department will be revised.ť The new fee is shown below: ť
ť For enquiries, please call 2656 2333 / 2679 4354 during office hours. ť ť Application Open for the Pilot Project on Urban FarmingAgriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) will launch a pilot project on urban farming in Ma On Shan Sai Sha Road Garden in 2024 for five years. The department is now inviting application from operators running modernised indoor crop production farm in Hong Kong. ť The department requires the operator taking part in the pilot project to set up a modernised indoor crop production farm in the area of about 500 square metres designated in the garden for running commercial crop production under a financially viable business model as the main activity. The operator should also sell crops produced in the urban farm and organise agricultural education activities related to the farm production for engaging the community. ť Those who are interested in applying for the project should download the set of application documents below (Chinese Version Only). ť
