Globose Zo-sasa is usually found in large populations. It might look unspectacular, though; the reddish purple styles in the flowers make Globose Zo-sasa a conspicuous plant during the flowering season. Globose Zo-sasa is highly adapted to most freshwater wetland areas. With its well-developed root systems, it is able to bloom even when its roots are immersed in water.
