It is a resident bird in Hong Kong which can be found in only a few places, luckily Wetland Park is one of them. Although Sooty-headed Bulbul has red vent like Red-whiskered Bulbul (Pycnonotus jocosus), the difference is that Sooty-headed Bulbul has a crown with slight crest and it has no red ear-converts.
