灰头麦鸡
Grey-headed Lapwing
Vanellus cinereus

Grey-headed Lapwing is a lovely bird with distinctive characteristics. Its grey head, yellow bill with a black tip and red iris make it conspicuous among other waterbirds on mudflats. Although Grey-headed Lapwing looks like rails, it actually belongs to the same family as Little Ringed Plover (Charadrius dubius), another common bird in Wetland Park.
