A New Camellia Record for Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Herbarium recently recorded a new species of Camellia Camellia furfuracea at Au Pui Wan, an abandoned village just outside the Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve. Seeds were collected from the population and active propagation is being conducted with high germination rate.
