New Dragonfly Record to Hong Kong: Gynacantha ryukyuensis Asahina, 1962
Dragonfly Working Group of AFCD recorded a Gynacantha ryukyuensis Asahina, 1962, in Tai Lam Country Park in June 2014. This is the 4th record of G. ryukyuensis by the Working Group in Hong Kong since the species was first recorded in 2004. This aeshnid is now confirmed as a new dragonfly record in Hong Kong, lifting the total number of dragonfly species of Hong Kong to 118.
