New Dragonfly Record to Hong Kong: Anotogaster cf. klossi Fraser, 1919 

Dragonfly Working Group of AFCD recorded and captured a specimen of female Anotogaster species, in central New Territories in June 2015. After preliminary identification, the features of the specimen resemble Anotogaster klossi Fraser, 1919 the most. Final judgment on the identification will be made after review of literature and comparison of speciemens. This specimen is the first reported record of Family Cordulegastridae and Genus Anotogaster in Hong Kong.

The dragonfly is confirmed as a new record for Hong Kong, lifting the total number of dragonfly species of Hong Kong to 123. For more details, please refer to the coming issue of Hong Kong Biodiversity.
